Exploratory team

In this article, you will discover the key elements of an exploratory team analysis.


An exploratory team is a team whose average performance is above 8.5 out of 10 but with an unusual misalignment (more than 6 unaligned processes).

This type of team is rare and corresponds to teams with optimal functioning, but who wish to explore new horizons.

PERFORMANCE



Start by scanning all the components of performance to help the group become aware of the areas of improvement it may still have. At this stage, there is often little work on performance.

FUNCTIONING



The exploratory team will have many wishes for changes in their work processes;

We advise you to clarify with the team what goals and ambitions the team wants to achieve in the next year or 2. The new way of working must serve an operational objective;

The challenge here is to guide the team in choosing (maximum three at a time) which work processes to change.

In practice :



Bring new practices to the team through the practice library and your experiences;

To offer wisdom to temper the radical desire for change expressed by a large number of non-aligned processes.
