The role of the OpenDecide facilitator

In this article, you will discover the role and responsibility of an OpenDecide facilitator in the debriefing of a team.

Who can become a facilitator?

Anyone who is not the manager of the team currently analyzed, preferably someone "external" to the team but who is part of the organization. In addition, we recommend the OpenDecide expert training in order to become a facilitator.

What position does the facilitator have towards a team?

The facilitator has access to the results of the team and the manager.
The facilitator assists the manager in understanding the results of the analysis during a one and a half hour debrief.
During this time, the facilitator will take time to debrief the manager on their responses compared to the team's responses.
After the manager’s debrief, the facilitator will lead the team’s debriefing.

How can you become a facilitator?

In order to become a facilitator, we invite you to get in touch with your internal contacts.
They will be able to register you for a half-day training session with OpenDecide experts, and then you will be able to participate in three Codevs pedagogical workshops that will allow you to practice leading team debriefs and interpreting the results of analyses.
